1/06/2010: Signing of the ENEXAL Grant Agreement
On the 1st of June 2010, the Grant Agreement number 249710 between the European Commission and Aluminium of Greece (ENEXAL's coordinator) comes into force.

17/06/2010: ENEXAL's Kick Off Meeting in Viotia, Greece
On the the 17th of June in the industrial plant of Aluminium of Greece, takes place the kick-off meeting of the ENEXAL project. Representatives from all ENEXAL partners are present, in order to discuss, allocate and co-ordinate the ENEXAL research effort.

13-15/10/2010: Three day Thermodynamic meeting, in RWTH-Aachen, Germany
A small summit between NTUA, RTWH-Aachen and ETHZ takes place in Aachen in order to discuss, review and coordinate the theoretical and experimental investigations in the Alumina carbothermic reduction process.

09-10/12/2010: ENEXAL 1st Progress meeting, in RWTH-Aachen, Germany
On the the 9th and 10th of December in RWTH-Aachen's IME institute takes place the first progress meeting of the ENEXAL project. Representatives from all ENEXAL partners are present, in order to discuss and evaluate the progress of the ENEXAL project and co-ordinate their future efforts.

27/05/2011: ENEXAL 2nd Progress meeting, in ETH-Zurich, Switzerland
On the 27th of May in ETH-Zurich's department of Mechanical Engineering takes place the second progress meeting of the ENEXAL project which marks the conclusion of the first year of the ENEXAL project. Representatives from all ENEXAL partners are present, in order to discuss and evaluate the progress of the ENEXAL project and co-ordinate their future efforts.

12-13/01/2011: ENEXAL 3rd Progress meeting, in NTUA/ALSA, Greece
On the 12 and 13th of January in NTUA and ALSA take place the thrid progress meeting of the ENEXAL project which marks the first project review. Representatives from all ENEXAL partners and the EC project officer are present, in order to discuss and evaluate the progress of the ENEXAL project and co-ordinate their future efforts. During the first day of the meeting a red mud treatment demonstration takes place in NTUA's 400 kVA EAF unit.

15/06/2012: ENEXAL 4th Progress meeting, in DAPP, Italy
On the 15th of June in the premises of D'Appolonia takes place the forth progress meeting of the ENEXAL project which marks the conclusion of the second year of the ENEXAL project (half-way mark). Representatives from all ENEXAL partners are present, in order to discuss and evaluate the progress of the ENEXAL project and co-ordinate their future efforts.

13-14/12/2012: ENEXAL 5th Progress meeting, in TMF/SIRMIUM, Serbia
On the 13 -14 of December of 2012 in the premises of TMF-Serbia takes place the fifth progress meeting of the ENEXAL project Representatives from all ENEXAL partners are present, in order to discuss and evaluate the progress of the ENEXAL project and co-ordinate their future efforts.A visit to the nearby plant of SIRMIUM Steel also takes place

11-12/06/2013: ENEXAL 6th Progress meeting, in WIS, Israel
On the 11-12 of June of 2013 in the premises of WIS takes place the fifth progress meeting of the ENEXAL project Representatives from all ENEXAL partners are present, in order to discuss and evaluate the progress of the ENEXAL project and co-ordinate their future efforts.A demonstration of the operation of the solar furnace also takes place.

15-16/01/2014: ENEXAL 7th Progress meeting, in ALSA, Greece

On the 15 -16 of January of 2014 in the premises of ALSA akes place the sevent progress meeting of the ENEXAL project Representatives from all ENEXAL partners are present, in order to discuss and evaluate the progress of the ENEXAL project and co-ordinate their future efforts. A demonstration of the Red Mud Treatment process in the ALSA's ENEXAL pilot plant takes place.
